Tokugawa Makoto (徳川誠)

Makoto TOKUGAWA (October 31, 1887 - November 11, 1968) was the ninth son of Yoshinobu TOKUGAWA, the 15th shogun of the Edo bakufu. His mother was Sachi NAKANE, a daughter of Yoshisaburo NAKANE. He was a baron.

His wife was Seiko NAWA, a daughter of baron Nagayoshi NAWA, and his son was Osamu TOKUGAWA. He became a cadet branch of the Yoshinobu TOKUGAWA family and was baronized on November 5, 1913. He worked for Yokohama Specie Bank. He later became a member of Kizokuin (the House of Peers).
